I'm a backend engineer with 5+ years of experience, most of it in Go. I've built systems for online marketplaces, EV charging, and payments. These days I work on a developer platform, where customers sign up, manage their API access, and pay for the products they build on. I'm comfortable owning a system end to end, from design to code to infrastructure to production.
I like understanding how systems actually work, and when something breaks I usually dig until I find the real cause, even when it turns out to be in a library we don't own. I also love mentoring, and I've done it everywhere I've worked, from onboarding new engineers to whiteboarding problems together until they click.

- Led development of TomTom's pay-as-you-go platform from prototype to production launch: a Go service where developers buy prepaid credits to access TomTom's APIs, integrated with Adyen (3-D Secure) and SAP invoicing; now replacing the legacy billing system.
- Proactively designed and built a full-stack admin panel from scratch (Go, React, Entra ID SSO with role-based access), giving real-time visibility into orders, revenue, and customer activity, with automated refunds, credit management, and debugging tooling that replaced manual production intervention.
- Owned production end-to-end: set up CI/CD, built alerting and on-call (PagerDuty, OpenTelemetry, Grafana), and led resolution of cross-team production incidents.
- Introduced an event-driven message-queue architecture (Azure Service Bus), a first in the business unit.
- Identified and fixed critical pre-launch security vulnerabilities, including a payment-amount validation gap and an authorization bypass (IDOR) exposing other customers' orders.
- Built an internal platform for orchestrating LLM agents (Claude Code): an agent dashboard, Jira/GitHub automation, and scheduled autonomous workflows, adopted across the engineering unit.

- Designed and built Go microservices on AWS for bulk advert posting and monetization for professional sellers across 3 countries, including a fully asynchronous ingestion API that, in load tests, cut processing time for 10,000 adverts from ~16 hours to 3 and drove error rates from 13% to effectively zero.
- Deployed and managed services on AWS using Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and ArgoCD.
- Implemented monitoring and alerting with New Relic and log management with Kibana.
